- I launched A.C. Baker Apparel in 2003....failed miserably, and now design handbags and clothing (in my living room), and consult with other start ups to help them avoid my mistakes. I also run a small (and by small I mean micro) marketing and pr company that focuses in fashion and entertainment (some retail and sales but I try to avoid those assignments). I have 2 kids who are fabulously cool...a husband that writes stories so scary I can't read them and 4 cat-monkeys who insist on mooching off of our common good will.
